Daily Self Challenge Fitness Journey

A lot of people ask me how I keep my body in shape. There is no magic answer or secret recipe aside from some people who are "blessed" with good genetics. Unfortunately, I was not one of them therefore this is how i keep my body in tip top shape:

  • Bike: 20 minutes total
  • Jump Rope: 15 minutes total
    • 2 minutes jumping
    • 1 minute break
  • Sit-ups: 60 total
    • 3 sets of 20
  • Push-ups: 15 total
    • 3 sets of 5
  • Crunches: 80 reps
    • 4 sets of 20

NOTE: Please be sure to check with your local physician prior to starting any new fitness regimen in order to ensure all proper safety measures.

Building the body of YOUR dreams starts with what you eat... take a look below in order to see all of my Main Meals:

Breakfast:

Morning Shake

  • 1 Piece of Ginger
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Quarter Apple
  • 1 Egg (yes raw)
  • 12 oz. Coconut Water
  • 4 Tbsp. of Oatmeal

Directions: Blend with Coconut Water and/or substitute with drink of choice

NOTE: 1 Tsp. of Honey by choice

Lunch:

AP Sandwich

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Half Tomato Slice
  • Chopped Mushrooms
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • Multi-Grain Bread

Directions: Fry the garlic until brown with butter or olive oil. Add in the mushrooms and then tomato. Ensure it cooks thoroughly prior to adding in the egg. All ingredients should be fried properly prior to taking off the pan and adding onto the 2 slices of multi- grain bread.

Note: You can either toast the bread or have it un-toasted. It is all based on personal preference.

Dinner:

Chicken Breast Dinner

  • 1 Pound of Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 2 Large Sweet Potatoes
  • Lemon Garlic Sauce
  • Mixed Vegetables

Directions: Peel the Sweet Potatoes and slice in 6 cubes. Sprinkle with olive oil and put in the oven for approximately 30 minutes or until soft on 350 degrees. Add salt and spice (I add lemon pepper) based on your own particular taste to the chicken breast and then put on the grill medium high for about 8 minutes on each side or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked. While the others are cooking, take the mixed vegetables and add them to a pan with olive oil and a little bit of spices (again, your choice) to add the necessary flavor and wallah! All the pieces when done can now be put together, make your plate look pretty, show yourself some love, and enjoy the yummy yummy time!

NOTE: Avoid using too much salt in your food!
